Get a legal version of the software. If it is legal, then there is a bad problem, you may need to put in the cd an dboot from there, then tell windows to repair the installation.

do you have an original windows operating system installed in your computer, if not and it is a copy then you won't be able to download up grades, if it is original then try sending an e-mail or trying the help feature on the microsoft website , hope this helps!!!!!!!

You won't be able to download if your copy of XP can't be verified as being legit. If it is a legal copy, call the company and they'll assist you.

you need to install service pack one first! or you will get that error code!
