skype or yahoo voice chat (available with yahoo messenger)
the other person too has to have skype or yahoo messenger installed in their computer to be able to speak with u in case u wanna freely call thier computer & not their phonet , so i suggest u use yahoo messenger (latest version) as it's more widely used.

if your friend's using skype then it's free of charge no matter where he is, even in another country...if you want to call to ordinary phones...you have to pay depends on ur country and what type of calls u make...
