I would say dreams come after our creavitvies. After all, dreams are from our subconscious mind. We sometimes can't create or think of anything in daily life because of distraction. However, dreams can let us know what is stored in our subconscious mind

We're all dreamers. Whether you remember your dreams or not has more to do with what stage of sleep you're in when you wake up than how creative you are.

I think that 90% of the time, whatever is on your mind is what you dream about.
Yes, I think the more creative among us have more vivid dreams. (that's why I get so disappointed when I dream of the mundane, but have my share of wacky dreams too)
Dreams can be intuitive in nature, but they are not as common.

i am a writer and I can dream some crazy dreams. I write about them.
