Islam.
Women have to cover themselves up all the time, walk 10 paces behind their husbands, and are considered property in Muslim countries. They are not allowed to go anywhere by themselves unless it's to market for food...and then they must be completely covered. It doesn't get much more opressive than that.

the ppl saying Islam are very misunderstood... Islam was the first religion to give women right when they were treated like objects so plz don't answer bluntly when you don't have proper reasoning... i don't want to be mean but i think its Hinduism coz when the husband dies the wife has to jump on his spouses burning body and die... and widows are considered UNlucky and un pure ppl in Hinduism...
