My partner had a vasectomy reversal in September. We've been ttc since then. He just had a semen analysis and it was right on 20 count with low mobility. I also had a blood test and found I had 26 prolactin level but great progestrone etc. Is it still possible for us to conceive? Two months a no go. We're working into our third. I have purchased pre-seed and some male fertility vitamins for him. What else can we do? Any medicines we can take per doctor? I know it may seem that we haven't been trying long but I have been for over a year (with my former husband but no luck and we decided to split).

I have the exact same condition. I also have a high prolactin level. Well I don't anymore, my doctor put me on bromocriptine(Parlodel) to lower it. It has worked, I went back to get my blood checked and it was normal. My husband and I are also trying to conceive. My doctor said I'm completely normal and my chances of getting pregnant are just like anyone else. So you should be fine, as far as your husband I really don't know what he can take to up his sperm count. Did your doctor recommend anything? Maybe you should talk to him and see what else you could do. Are you going to a fertility specialist or your regular PCP?
