Im dissabled and due to heart and lung problems id never been allowed to travel,last 8 months things has changed and the lungs is much better which has allowed me to travel,i went to morocco where i found it to be full of great loving people-can anyone help or know where i can learn arabic from home.thankyou julie,xxx from scotland

Hi. I'm glad to hear that you're feeling better. I speak Arabic fluently, and would be more than happy to talk, or correspond with you, to help you learn the language. I am sure it would be a lot of fun and learning! But I must warn you the language is one of the hardest in the world! I think it would be better for you to learn basic public (amiah) Arabic, than the literal (fusha) straigh away. In all cases I'm ready to help. Send me an e-mail if you decide to really start. I'm not pretty sure on learning from home coz I still believe that going to brick and mortar college is the best way of studying. Plus, you need to know arabic writings and pronunciation. So, you need a teacher.

Sorry for your conditon; I wish I could be of help of more help than this. How about buying a Learning Arabic CD you should find it in your local stores.
