Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am a HUGE Saints/Colston fan & believe he deserves rookie of the year. Everyone hates on the Saints and their players and didnt know if others chose to ignore the leading reciever in the NFL. I am going 2 be pissed if he doesnt get it.....

Colston---New Orleans Saints receiver

I'll add another vote for Colston. I'm not a Saints fan, but this guy has been outstanding. He doesn't play like a rookie, and certainly not like a seventh-rounder from a small school.

If not Colston, I'd probably choose someone on the defensive side of the ball. Mark Anderson of the Bears and A.J. Hawk for the Packers are both having great first years.

At this point, I don't think Reggie Bush even merits consideration. He's doing okay, but there are so many rookies doing more for their team.

problematic question for me. i'm Buckeye fan each and each and every of how, so I have observed Oden. Oddly adequate, I now stay in Austin, TX and observed the Longhorns and Durant; that is why Gibson's achievement with the Cavs in no marvel to those human beings in lil' 12 u . s .. in spite of the actuality that, Durant is going to marvel the country to boot. Oden will conflict somewhat, yet not some thing major a rookie contained in the NBA gained't study from and only a freshman popping out. Durant, although, also a freshman will play like a junior/senior popping out of faculty. Oden a touch behind the attending to understand curve, Durant is going to be a fabulous effect, win ROY and persons (I hate to assert) are going to look on the Longhorns as a excellent basketball software. Why not prevailing the championships like Gators, absolutely everyone leaves UT for the NBA and are waiting. What would Longhorns had performed had those adult males not left early: 2003 - Ford, 2004 - Ivey, 2006 - Adlridge, Tucker, Gibson 2007 - Durant Durant will win ROY.

Colston, no question. The guy was the THIRD TO LAST player taken in the draft and was from HOFSTRA, but he's LEADING the LEAGUE in receiving yards and touchdowns (tied with three others) after the first 9 games. What more could you want out of a rookie, much less one who nearly went undrafted?

Laurence Maroney, the new rookie running back for the New England Patriots. He has the best stats for a rookie running back of anyone in the NFL, including Reggie Bush.

It's gotta be Coltson.

Bush has only scored 2 TDs, and has been a mild disappointment. Leinart and Young have struggled at times. (has Leinart even won a game?)
