why they claim that , religion is for peace?

from what i see on the news, Islam, because they want to kill all the jews and convert everyone to islam, and if they don't convert they die, pretty violent huh?

no religion supports it,NO not even islam!!!its ignorance that makes people say that, im not muslim so dont get me wrong, islam promotes peace and does no support people getting killed, its stereotyping that makes people say that it does support, just because most suicide bombers and terrorists are muslim everyone gets the impression that its what the religion is all about, by now we should all know that generalising by what few have done is pretty wong. religion is for peace, its just that us as people lack tolerance and think that what we believe in is best. if we could all learn that everyone is diffrent and intitled to their own opinions then maybe we could achieve peace. everyone is equal and sure there will be some out casts and those out to do wrong but blaming it on islam like some people who have answered this question is not fair.

Religion is fantast even to the belivers because they don't understand what the holy words mean. To be sincer I can not mention any state that alows terrorist groups but most musilms actualy support so some are even in America. So to say there is a state it is not right because they get some of the money from friends which are scatter all over the world who are living in different states and countries in the world.
I give you this saying which was said by socrates, "Are the pious loved by gods because they are piouse or they are pious because they are loved by gods"

Religion, as with any ideology or beliefs or philosophy, is often used as a pretext or to be blunt an excuse for violence. Unfortunately, as a result all people of that 'religion' often get tarred with the same brush. This in turn only serves to fuel the narrow minded paranoia needed to sustain such views, and thus we have a vicious circle.

Mostly these days it is Islamic states which foster and support the terrorist groups, with their Jihad's take for example, Afganistan, Iraq, Iran, Syria, etc. The declared aim of Islam is (as was that of Christianity) to make the world into one Islamic World, with not tolerance for other beliefs. Read the Koran and you will find it repeated over and over.

religion that supports terrorists is not a religion , and terrorists are out of religion(whatever it is ,
iam so astonished that ppl will say islam , i wonder what the US marines doing in iraq, or isreal doing in palastine for more than 50 years and still and what happened to lebonan......&other muslim countries would be called??!!!!( very peaceful ppl with peaceful religion, right?!!)

No religion supports terrorism...unfortunately we have sick extremists of all religions in the world who unjustly use religion as a reason to defend their actions. How they can use religion as an excuse I will never know as all religion preaches peace.

myabe muslims cuz they think if you try to harm them it is normal that they try to defend themselves how ever they have to i dont blame them the world is Rottennnnnnnn..........
