Me & my husband plan to visit every state eventually. If you have done any traveling or you live in a certain state, could you tell me your experiences & what you've done & the places you've visited while in whichever state? If there's an amazing thing I should while I'm in so & so state, let me know, it'd be greatly appreciated!

Oh yeah, one more thing. A few years ago I was watching some TV program & there was a list of places like I'm talking about. One of them was a burger joint in some state. The burgers are like HUGE! If you know what I'm talking about, let me know cause now I can't find it!

Ooh, that sounds like fun! I'd also like to visit every state someday...So far, I've seen about half.
I grew up in PA....there's plenty to do in and around there. Go to the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia! And I guess people like to "see the Amish People" in Lancaster County... There are lots of covered bridges and hex signs all over PA. It's kind of neat, I guess.
The Jersey Shore has some ok boardwalks...
Go to New York and take the ferry from Staten Island to Manhattan!
If you go to Ohio, check out Columbus. It's a fun city.
There's a cute town in Illinois on the Mississippi called Galena. And of course, Chicago is great.
Oooh, if you go to Texas, and want to see something weird, take US- 380 west from Dallas. Right around Brownfield is this little town called Tokio. Seriously, it consists of about 4 empty buildings. That highway is BREATHTAKING. You'll be driving through miles and miles of empty land and oil fields. I've never been able to see that far anywhere else...it makes you feel so tiny!
and GO TO ROSWELL, NM!!! Lots of little green men. Check out the UFO museum...it'll really make you wonder about some of that stuff... I only got to spend half a day in Roswell, but it's probably my favorite place in the US.
Also in New Mexico...the White Sands National Monument near Alamogordo. Seriously gorgeous. All of New Mexico is beautiful. I've truly never seen anything like it.
Oh, and come to Tucson and see the Saguaros. They're like giant cartoon cactii! I hear Bisbee is a really awesome little town (southeastern AZ).
Oh yeah, and Asheville, NC is really great. It's in the Smoky Mtns. There are lots of crazy, artsy people there....it has a truly peaceful atmosphere.
Ahhh there's so many places to see. I could write you a book. But I won't :)

I live in Colorado. Its a great place to visit, but one of the most amazing places I have been to is Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico. You need to go sometime in September or October, I can't remember which, That's just before the bats migrate. It's an awesome spectacle to see the bats come out of the cave at dusk. The caverns are amazing also.

in washington state, you need to visit leavenworth. i recommend winter, but summer is very good too. i have spent a few 'new year's eves' there...at the blackbird lodge. there is an outdoor hot tub (snow all around) and it overlooks the river. absolutely gorgeous! regarding burgers, our local 'evening magazine' show did a story on a bunch of young guys who made a quest to find the best burgers in washington. some of the burgers they showed were huge. (show is on King 5)
