Those people that don't talk about Giuliani are Republicans who have selective memory. I like Giuliani and don't care about his private life but when people start branding Clinton a degenerate because of Lewinsky and they idolize Giuliani for his values, that's hypocrisy.

In 2000, in the middle of a run for the Senate that Hillary eventually won, Rudy admittied to an affair. He separated from his wife of 16 years not long after the admission. According to his wife, the affair he was having at that time was not his first.
So if Republicans vilify Clintion for his extra-marital affairs, how can they support Rudy?
But I'm sure that the Christain element of forgiveness will grow in strength the closer Rudy gets to having a real chance at the White House.

It's completely hippocritical. 9/11 was the greatest deversion for what really happened with Guilani's marriage scandal. I love how the American public can crucify one man clinton who did the same thing and make guilani a hero. I'm sorry what makes Guilani a hero for 9/11? All he did was make a speech. The real hero's were the ones going through the wreckage looking for survivors. Not Guilani, don't get me wrong he did do some good by making a speech, but that doesn't qualify him as a hero.

The radical right wing of the Republican Party is a treasonous band of immoral hypocrites hiding behind a mask of false piety. In a bizarre, through-the-looking-glass version of Christianity, they have hijacked the teachings of Jesus Christ and manipulated them into a pro-gun, pro-business, make-as-much-money-as-you-can, every-man-for-himself, screw-the-poor faith that places more importance on political ideology than on one's fellow man.
As a result, they poisoned the political discourse in this country throughout the 90s in a single-minded campaign to personally destroy Bill Clinton because he wasn't their man. As a divorced Catholic with a hands-off position on gay marriage and abortion Guiliani is in for the same treatment at the hands of these hypocritical political terrorists. You just wait and see.
