Hi , for architecture in ancient and medieval times in india, you will not be able to find what you are looking for all on one site. You will have to do extensive research on the net on each point that you want about a particular monument. Just state the point and the name of the place in google-you will then need to find a sites from where u can take the info.
For Example: conservation+ajanta+cave, location+khajuraho+temple, etc..
If you want pictures- type khajuraho+temple+picture or aerial+khajuraho+temple+pictur... khajuraho+temple+map
and clink on the link for google pictures
Still here are some sites which might help:
http://www.indoarch.org/ -- select the place from search-top left hand corner

Konark: About the temple, Legend of Samba, Language Of Stone, Striking features

http://konark.nic.in/content.htm... - maps, art and craft, festivals, conservation -- go to these links when u take the cursor on Maps.
