I was born left handed, like most of my family, but I went to a very old fashioned school where they thought left handed people were the spawn of the devil, and I was beaten into using my right hand to write with. I still do a lot of things with my left, though!

I'm right-handed, but do alot of things left. My Dad is left-handed. My 2 kids are both left.
Their Grandma was left, my cousin is also left.
We have recently noticed that when we get our dog to 'sit' and give his 'paw' he gives his left 1st then his right when we ask for 'other one'.

I write left-handed by nature but I am also able to write with my righ hand.
I throw right handed.
I play hockey and bat left handed.
I can kick a ball with either foot (my right has more strength, but I am comfortable with either).

All you who claim to be ambidextrous, what had do you prefer to write with? Do other stuff with?

I get manually confused sometimes when I begin a new dextrous task - I'm not sure which hand to do it with so I switch back and forth awkwardly until I just force myself to pick a hand.

I'm both. 75 yeas ago it used to be a shameful thing here in the US to use your left hand. You had to use your right hand in public. During the World Wars, I was told by my grandmother, you would be shot by your own people if they saw you using your left. They would think you were a spy. lol

Right. Both my parents write with their left hand, my mum eats with her knife and fork in opposite hands to most people, as does my brother, although he writes with his right hand. So, I'm the only fully right handed person in my family.

Right handed. The weirdest thing is that my mum says that left handed people are more creative. Which is insulting not just to me but most of my family and herself. My cousin is left handed.
