Do you even watch a whole episode? You hear all sides to issues, and see that even "good Christians" can have conflicting feelings about different issues. Try watching with an open mind, and listening to all sides. Heck, the whole show is designed to show the problems in society from all angles. Do you listen to the girl who is so religious? If you did, you could see why she's Christian and still able to joke around. As she said, "It's up to God to judge, not me."

It sure is a lot better to be able to do as they do than to create so much hatred as a cartoon did published in Europe.
People use very explicit phrases about god and Jesus every day. What is in the TV is mild compared to the general group of young people use.
When you start baning where do you stop?

It's a fictional television show. The characters on those shows can have opinions about a particular religion and you are free to agree or disagree with those opinions to any extent that you want. Television would be pretty boring if we were never allowed to show characters whose opinions you didn't agree with.

For the same reason that Christian anti-abortion rallies can hold up large signs along public streets with poster-sized picture of rare, late-term abortion... it's called the first amendment.

what they say on studio 60 is no different than what bill o'riley says about muslims or gays on his show, and that's not even a sitcom. he's supposed to be a journalist. if you don't like people bashing or making fun of a man who lived 2000 years ago...........man. seriously.

Because this is a free country and if they aren't allowed to say anything about Christianity than the religious people shouldn't be able to say that people different from them are going to hell.

As long as they don't curse (the 10 words you can't say on television), it's fine.
besides, rating are so down on "Studio 60", it's likely to be cancelled

It's a free country, that's what we've fought wars for. There are many Christian shows that criticize people of other faiths.

It's called "Free Speech" - look up the First Amendment (whether you agree or not, it's there)
