I really like the author Virginia Andrews and I was wondering what your favourite book of hers his. Mine would have to be The Shooting Stars series

the original series . FLOWERS IN THE ATTIC. Virginia Andrews does not write the books anymore / She died a few years back. It is relatives of hers that write the series now.

Flowers in the Attic definitely. I really enjoyed the film and it was after that I decided to read the book. There was so much more background detail in the book, it was fantastic.After that I read the sequel 'Petals on The Wind' and was really disappointed with it.

I have never been able to read Flowers in the Attic again as it totally spooked me, worse than any horror or sci-fi!! It is horrifying, because it happens so slowly. Actually, I think I will read it again.

However, WHATEVER you do, DON'T watch the film of it - it's nothing like the book! VERY disappointing!

I've read a few of her books, but find that they nearly always have a similar plot.
