wow..i'm indian but i definitely dont follow the caste system.in fact i think my parents are of different caste. and i doubt that they even know their cste..they dont think its important and neither do i.i grew up in malaysia and i'm still living here so i just asked to know if indians in other parts of the world are still following it.its kinda sad that many still are

They do and will continue to do so. Some have 'westernized' their beliefs somewhat but the caste system is alive and strong and will continue to be so. In funneling much business to India the U.S. government has given their blessings to this discriminatory practice.

Indians are not following the caste system but the politicians are following the caste system for the cause of the vote

you are talking of the abuses cast system. It is the government of India which has introduced new cast system after independence.
They are called upper castes, scheduled castes, backward castes, tribal castes, other back ward castes, backward Muslim caste, Neo Buddhist castes, Old Buddhist and Jain caste, the backward Sikh caste, the advanced Sikh caste, politician caste and others.In fact there are many more divisions which the government is unaware of. Most of the rural India still follows the caste system. It has been made illegal by the govt. but it is still being practiced socially.

It's not used in government, although I'm not positive on that but it is definitely used in the Hindu religion, which makes up most of the culture so I suppose the answer is yes.

Castism is still there in India. Even reservations are there in Govt. for certain castes. You can find very rare inter-caste marriage.

They do.
There is nothing to be sad about. There is no group of people, which does not have sub-sections.Even in malaysia, Budhdhists, & Muslims have several groups among themselves.
