as I have itself some rare songs in my collections that I have transfer from vinyl records

look up Intel Inport on the net I used it works great

Download any free software from the internet which allows you to record from your computer's line in socket [This is usually next to where you plug the speakers in] then, purchase a £5 lead from Dixons/Currys etc. with a 3.5mm jack on either end. Plug one end into the line in socket on your computer, the other end into your tape player's headphone socket and get going.

You need the ION USB turntable (feed the details into Google), which will transfer both vinyl and cassette tape direct to your computer using a USB connection only. Downside? It costs £120 and you're only likely to be using it once.

If your using an audio cd recorder you need a phono to jack lead, you can get them from most maplin or even B&Q sell them also, jack runs from your headphone socket of your tape player and the phono heads (white and red usually) go into Aux / sound in. hope this helps!

well I put a tape player & cd player next to each other , press play on one , record on the other, then left it to play . good luck,

you have to buy this tape plaer that plugs up to your computer and al you do is rip th music from it and put it n acd .....
