why would you contimplate something like that? when it happens to people, it is not ususally something that you have enough control over to seriously say, "well... should i be bulimic today or not?" you might think that it is a good idea right now, but the real thing is, you will be in a worse place once you start. You will start, and then you wont be able to stop, you will retain water weight, and therefore think that you are fatter than before, and throw up more. in all actuallity, it will probably either steal your health from you or kill you. I read a couple of your other question titles, and there was one about your daughter. Do you want your daughter to think that you have the stomach flu everyday, or to tell people that you are sick... do you want her to grow up thinking that this is okay? that when you are streesed you can just give in, and risk your heath and life to feel a little better for a couple minutes? If you know that it is stupid then why would you concider it? I was a cutter for a long time. same sort of thing, stress, worries, day to day life. It got to a point where i wouldnt even realize that i was doing it anymore. It took $20,000 and 3 weeks in a rehab to wake me up! there were girls in there that were bulimic, and they realized that it was the worst mistake that they ever made. I am fine now, but if you take this to that level, and no one catches you as you fall.... you may never stop. you think that these things are just rumors, that you will be able to stop... that you will be fully aware of what you are doing, but you wont be. You need to find somehting else that you can do... go running with your daughter (i dont know how old she is, but if she is too little to run, put her in her stroller and go jogging) ride a bike, you could join a gym, but since you are worried about money, mabye that is not a good idea right now. you could get a job to help with the money, do something that you like, so that it is not stressful. you could do like avon, tupperware, or pamperd cheif if your daughter is too little to be left at home. you just need to find something productive to do. you can e-mail me if you want to. yust add @yahoo.com to my name... make the right choice here, for you, your man, and your daughter.

It sounds like life is treating you pretty rough right now. Just coming here to talk about it...ask about it...is a positive thing. Being bulemic is not the answer...and I think deep down you know this. Goodness, if you can find the control to make your body barf...somewhere is the control to know all this stuff that is so hard emotionally and stress-fully with pass.

Hold you head up, take a deep breath and go for it! Remember, you are much more important than bills, and a guy that's history. Take all this as a challenge that you know you can deal with and in the end you will look back on it as a learning experience with pride!

Along the way, try to find a support group. If you have really good friends...ask for help and comfort...that is what friends are for and I am sure you have been and will be there for them in the same way. Take time out of every day for you! Whether it is reading, dancing, exercise, a hot bath, a little nap in the sun, a walk in the park, playing with a dog or cat/or other animal...most of all...be kind to yourself and give yourself time to heal from your broken relationship and moving etc...before you worry about your weight and bulemia...hugs to you!

Believe me, the stress of bulimia won't make you life any easier. On top of all the other stresses in your life you will have the lie that all bulimics have to live with. Your health will begin to suffer and that will add stress...not take it away.
Sit down and make a list of all of your stresses. Put check marks next to the ones you have control over. Work on those first. If you need someone to talk to...get help...don't wait till its too late. Your obsession with your weight is probably because you feel like everything else is out of control...guess what...it isn't. Your list will help you refocus and you'll be more in control and your weight will not be such a concern.
Good luck

If your that stressed you won't need to be bulimic. You'll probably start losing weight unless stress causes you to eat. When I was still married I was so stressed I got down to 92lbs b/c I never felt like eating and also I got ulcers. I'm 5'6 so 92 was way too thin. When I did weigh too much I took correctol and pooped it off. You can't do that for too long though b/c it will mess up your stomach. Not healthy but I hear bulimic is even worse. Your teeth will turn yellow from the yack. If your eating from stress just eat healthy - like salads, vegies, white meats (chicken/pork), stuff like that and stay away from soft drinks!
Good Luck!

instead of becoming bulimic, which could in the long run make you extremely sick, try working out for like 20 minutes a day. money....ya, i hear that.
stop worrying....hard..i know. but try. sit quietly every day for like 5 mins or so and just meditate. clear your mind and think of nothing. concentrate on your breathing. realize that you are a strong woman and that you can do anything you want to do.

If you are feeling overwhelmed, and feeling like you can't cope as a result, you need to talk to someone, a counselor, if this is something you cannot afford, then call a crisis line, they have people there to talk with you or join a group, or chat where you can talk. Bulemia is a disease, and not pretty.
