I have a thick silk black shirt that I got some foor grease/oil on during dinner last week. I have hung and want to know if there's anything I can do at home to get it clean and not bleed/discolor. It is hardly noticeable, but still want it out.

Any ideas?

To ensure that it is done properly, why don't you have it dry cleaned. It should cost much.

I have had good luck cleaning dark colors with the oxygen-type cleaners. I get mine at a dollar store, thus avoiding the expensive brand that is advertised on TV. Since I wear a lot of navy blue, I frequently have to soak my darks in a solution of the oxygen-type cleaner to remove spots. I have never had it fade the color.
