All husbands are not always dominating. Mine isn't. But those that are usually have the whole male superior complex. They think they have to be the man of the house, you have to do what he says when he says, etc etc. It goes back to the old days when the majority of men where that way and it was acceptable. In todays society men and women have come to be a partnership with neither being the dominate one in the relationship. Whatever works for your relationship is what you must decide.

Why is there always peace in the world? Why has racial prejudice completely disappeared? Why did the world economy crash into the Greater Depression on 1/1/2000? Why do people get younger as the years go by? Why is the sky pink?
