I found on IMDB that Peter Abbay played the banker in one episode, maybe they're different all the time.
I myself thought there was no one on the phone. It's Howie's show so maybe he's just passing the buck and letting "the banker" be the bad guy.

There was a small article in the Daily Mirror a few weeks ago that said the banker was the bloke who used to play the policeman in Coronation Street who went out with Fiona, who was played by Angela Griffin. I am sorry, I can't remember his name, but I know that it said that he is given a guide by the producer what to offer the contestants but at the end of the day he decides. What a cool job to have. Wonder if he has a bad day he gives thim crap offers?

not sure. I think it is possible that there is in fact no banker. But spose that would not work when the contestants speak on the phone. Have you seen the Italian Deal or No Deal? It's hilarious!

there is no voice of the banker, he's an anonymous person on the end of a phone line, who we never hear.
according to imdb, he is rumoured to be the show's producer.

Don't know, probably no one special.....i have seen the Italian and the french Deal or No Deal...they don't take it quite so seriously...its funny most of the time.....the presenters get really excited.

How can you tell. We never hear him, the emcee always relays what the banker is saying to the audience.
