To me they all seem to work the same

I get Tide with bleach Alternative, it is a lot better than Wisk around the collar. It even gets grease and oil out of my clothes. I tried using Wisk to soak something in, it never did work for me.

If your clothes get quite dirty or stinky, stick with Tide. If you are only a minor or moderate dirty person (wink) then Wisk is fine.

Some people get off on the fragrances, so that might be a deciding factor.

Finally some people are allergic to certain "extras" in the detergent, Surf is a no-no here unless skin rashes are common.

I think Tide is top notch.

However- if Tide is not in your budget go for Wisk.

I like Arm & Hammer/Tide/All (esp. the new ALL in the small bottle- so much easier to carry around).

No. I tested them. My little sisters and I did a test. Tide is the best. Wisk is ok. Walmart brand works too.
