don't worry it wont hurt any thing at all its mostly water Ive been in the business for 30 years and never seen it hurt a car now if you put coolant in the washer reservoir it would just make a mess on your wind shield if you must clean it you can suck it out with a turkey baster but theres no need good luck

i'm no mechanic yet once you overfill the resevior with water, the brake fluid will pick the flow to the right and spill out the place that's mopped up with kitchen roll. whilst water starts to spill out then each and all of the brake fluid has long previous, only drain the water back off to required point. not a suitable answer yet an trouble-free DIY one, truthfully.

Sadly enough, that sounds like something my boyfriend would do. The washer fluid won't damage anything, but you should probably flush the coolant and refill it anyway since winter is coming up.

the car should be alright, the alcohol in the washer fluid just evaporate you will need to keep a close eye on the reservoir and top it up with the proper coolant... you can use washer fluid in an emergency but in your case its just the over flow bottle, don't sweat it

I'd drain the coolant out and refill. Only half an hour's work and it's cheap insurance, plus with winter coming up it's probably a good idea anyway...

It may actually clean it up bit. No worries though, just drain and refill it.

get it siphoned out as the chemicals will eat the radiator, hoses and destroy the motor
