yah..most of the people will receive spam mails..but if u increase the spam filter level to a higher level then the amount of spam that u get will decrease..and when u get spam mail, instead of deleting them directly, mark them as spam mail so that next time they will directly go to ur spam or junk folder..

These spam messages are most likely coming from another virus infected computer.
One of the reasons they write a program like this is to make money. The virus writers actually sell time on their bot networks to spammers.
The spammer will bounce the messages off of the unsuspecting victim to conceal his tracks. He spoofs the from address by using addresses out of the address list.
Spam blockers out there are blocking some messages with a spoofed from address which happens to be your address. These spam blockers think that you are sending out the spam. This is the source of your returned messages.
Unfortunately, there is not much you can do about it other than changing you email address.
Spammers buy, sell, and trade their mailing lists. So soon after you get on one list, you are on many.
Never reply to or opt-out of one of these messages. It only confirms to the spammer that they have a live one.
If your mail client program will support it, I suggest a good spam blocker.
As a starting point, I suggest trying Comodo Anti-Spam. I have had very good success with their products and they are FREE.

If you are using Yahoo for your email do this.
How to enable Spam protection in Yahoo Mail
Log into your Yahoo mail account
Left click on Options
Left click on Spam Protection
Turn SpamGuard ON
Set Immediately delete these messages ON
Check the box in front of Add the sender's email address to my blocked addresses list
Left click on the radio button in front of Block images in messages that SpamGuard thinks are spam
Left click on Save Changes

Youve oviously typed your email address into a site or forum and someone (or the site owner themself) has signed you up for all these emails. The point on this is profit for them, if you click on them they get money, if you signup they get money. I get these sometimes (Normally Viagra Emails) the only way to escape it is to create a new email address.

I used to get them but now I filter them out so I don't ever see them. I think they send them to everyone on the basis that even if one in a thousand reply they will make a profit

I do like it. Chop it up into small sq. chunks, fry it off in some oil with onions and garlic and then upload a tin of chopped tomatoes. Simmer and then eat with pasta and grated cheese. low-cost student nutrients!!
