That is the man you married, this should have all been discussed prior to the marriage. Now, it is harder to make changes after the deed is done. You cannot change him he is the one you married. God bless*

I agree soooo much on that issue, we have a home , bills and a child. My husband at times is very irresponsible. He couldn't keep a bank account if it killed him. He spend money on CD's, games, men magazines, porn etc i can go on, Instead of spending on the things he needs, his son needs or just saving, he is the bread maker right now , but I hold the fort down and it can be fustrating if we are not on the same page we are a n one income family and the way economy is he is being irresponsible with money, and I wouldn't allow it if we had two incomes. So the questions is why men only think of themselves it will never be answered, until they grow up.

Not all men are like that. My husband and I both have jobs. We share the money, the housework and the fun. Every wife and every husband should have a little money to spend on "stupid stuff", no questions asked. When we were young and poor, we had less of it, but we made sure we each had a little bit every week to blow on things we liked, whether or not the other one of us agreed it was a great buy. You need to sit down and make a budget together and show him how much he can spend on his hobbies or whims. You should have some for yourself, too, even if it's only $20 to get your nails done, or something.

Gee. Why is it that women only think of themselves while the husbands have to do everything? My wife spent money on stupid stuff knowing we had bills to pay.

Try and have a talk with him and divide bills up making him responsible for part and you responsible for part equally. Also, since he is being a goof with money make sure you have seperate bank accounts.
If this doesn't work then counseling and if that isn't fixing it quickly then get out of there, do not spend a lifetime supporting someone else and resenting it.

Your statement within your question is specific to you Marriage.

However, I agree that women tend to do more of the household chores and many women maintain the Family budget.

Each partner should do fifty percent of the daily chores. This can maintain a Balance in the Marriage.

On a humorous note...We men are Just Grown up Boys...smiles.

So, we need our Partners to keep us on track.

We have a simple rule in my Home.... Each partner is committed to help the Other Partner. She Helps me and I help her...In my situation, this works just fine.

Tell your Hubby to stop buying Stupid stuff...more smiles.

Good Luck...... Billy

Marriage is a negotiation.

Give and take. Wives don't do everything it is 50 - 50

if it is not that way for you then you need to restore the balance thru loving negotiation

Not all men are like that and some women are. You need to talk to him about it instead of letting your frustration build. Tell him that you feel you are the one left at the end of the day worrying over this financial hole all by yourself while he keeps digging away. Remind him that he is right there with you and it would be nice if he would be your "partner".

Not all of us are like that. I help my wife around the house with cleaning, laundry and cooking. We work as a team and help each other take care of the necessary things. There are still some good guys out here.

First off, learn how to spell, its MEN, not mean. Secondly, NOT all men are like this, your husband just doesnt love you...!! Leave him, hes a loser. If he intentionally does things to cause you stress or harm, he has no love for you. A husband should support his wife, make her feel safe and always try to protect her from the world(without smothering her)
