Buy a bucket full of wiffle balls, sit in your lawn chairs and just start tossing them over slowly the next time they are outside.

Instead of annoying them, try a little kindness. Bake them a cake or some cookies and deliver it with an apology that your kids' ball goes into they're yard. If they are elderly, ask if they need anything, or offer to run an errand for them. Try it and you can walk away feeling good about your self and maybe they wont be so grouchy towards your kids.

Well, I will tell you one thing we did there was five of us kids in our family growing up so we got into alot of things espically us three younger ones .. we used to go down the road when we knew it was going to rain and put a ton of soap suds in their yard....omg it was so funny even if I did get into trouble on that one..

Don't annoy them, get to know them better, remember they were once young like you. Maybe you could go over to their house and ask if they need help with anything! It isn't easy being old, someday you to will be old and cranky!
