NO.

Lettuce is terrible for rabbits- it will give the rabbit diarrhea and make it very dehydrated. Stick with firm vegetables like carrots and avoid anything like lettuce or celery. Dry alfalfa hay, salt licks, and commercial rabbit food and treats are also good sources of nutrition.

Edit: Rabbits may not be rodents, but vermin is an entirely subjective term describing a farm pest.

First of all, rabbits are not rodents or vermin. They are a totally different species called Lagomorphs. My husband and I breed and show rabbits. I can tell you there is a lot of misinformation out there on what a rabbit can eat. In days of old, they did feed a lot of hay and grains and vegetables, but they also had a high mortality rate in rabbits. Rabbits are unable to process gas, so will die if fed something that produces gas. Today we have the advantage of being able to purchase high quality rabbit feed at any feed and farmers store (not petco, pet smart or those types of stores). There has been a lot of research done on rabbit feed and the pelleted feed has everything in it that a rabbit needs. For treats we will give an occasional carrot (about 1/4 of one) or a small slice of banana. I WOULD NOT give any kind of cabbage type vegetable. We also do feed a good quality grass hay or timothy hay.

Not iceberg lettuce. Leafy greens like romaine are better. http://www.rabbit.org
