Depends on the car wash - some are more 'rough' than others!

Yes mine did but was under warrenty so got it fixed. I alweays use the jet wash now. You know the one with the lances and brushes you do by hand. The power washer things. They also get the car a lot cleaner. Those brisstles or pads have washed thousands of cars before yours. Would you clean your dishes with a sponge that is five years old.

It would break in the car wash with the spinnig thing that goes on the roof and every thing

Get it washed by hand. Car washes are not very car friendly, unless it's a beater.

my grandfather always went to the car wash. it never broke off. one day.. just for fun, he invited us ( grandchildren) to come wash the car with him. it broke off. just cos we were playing around and throwing water at each other. moral of the story: get it washed at the car wash. at least when it breaks off, u have some one other than yourself and your loved ones to blame..
