It could be that the display has been rotated - try holding down CTRL+ALT and press the UP ARROW to rotate the screen back to the normal orientation.

Do you mean it went blank?

If so, you probably hit the key combination that outputs the display to an external screen. Typically, a key combination such as Function+F4 fixes this (try it a few time and wait 5 seconds between each try).

Note: Function is a special notebook key normally located on the bottom-left of your keyboard. It's normally blue.

If you want to make sure F4 is the right key, look at the blue-ish icons under the function keys. One of them should represent a screen.

go to your graphics properties, and you will see info on flipping and rotating, you will be able to fix the problem in there, once you find and fix it, look for the hot keys and disable the ones you dont want, its a common thing to happen so dont worry, good luck.

right click on the desktop to bring up the sub menu
select graphics options
then graphics properties
go to the rotation tab and click normal
if you want to stop it again then you can untick the enable rotation check box
