People say kobe is nothing without shaq, i say without shaq, kobe was an all-star 2 times,an all-nba first team member, defensive team member and scored the second most points which is 81.
And kobe's best teammate is a part-time olympian and future all-star,Lamar Odom.

They say wade is the next "mj".But i dont think so. Where is wade 3's? game winners? Broken Records? WHERE?
People say wade is a better player than kobe,i say that wade has better guys in the team to play with, with more assists, hes the better option than kobe, but thats because he should because he's teammates are good. He's with Shaq...i dont need to explain who shaq is,mourning, walkers, williams.

Whos the better player individually?
without teammates.
just on their own.

Everyone who answered this is focusing on the offensive end. On offense Kobe is better because he can pull up for 3, midrange J or take you to the whole to get fouled, score, or dunk on someone. Wade has to drive that much because his Jumpshot is unreliable. This being said, Kobe is a MUCH BETTER man defender. Wade gets a lot of steals playing the passing lanes, but he has not shown he can shut someone down, NOT AT ALL. Kobe has been on the NBA's all defensive first and second team many times. Kobe is the best individual player on BOTH ENDS of the court. And just wait, so far this year Kobe's teammates are shooting well and playing with more confidence, this way Kobe will show he is a better team player than people give him credit for, and also, not having to score 35 points a game will let him spend more energy on D. Kobe is better all around, and still improving his game.

If the basis were from an individual standpoint, then a healthy Kobe Bryant at this stage of their respective careers would be a better player.

He has the height and athleticism to elevate and create his own shot against taller defenders. Wade can do the same but not to the same degree as Kobe.

Hope this was helpful.

Why did I get a thumbs down? Is this because my answer contains facts, rather than what you want to hear? Kobe is one of the most overrated players in the NBA. Penny and Wade have been to the finals with Shaq. It's a seeming every day occurence that a guard appears in the NBA finals with Shaq. You tell me what he has done without Shaq, other than a scoring title, and I'll listen. His Ast-to-Turover ratio isn't good. His FG% is lower than Lebron's and Wade's. What has he done?

Wade has led his team to a playoff series victory without Shaq. He did it in his rookie season. Kobe has yet to show that he can win a playoff series in 2 years time without Shaq. You have to give it to Wade on this one.

Well, if you look at Kobe's stats, never once in his career has he ever had a 2 to 1 Assist to turnover Ratio. Jordan did it 7 times, and Lebron has already done it twice in his first 3 seasons, and on pace to do it again. Kobe is a turnover machine - not good. He's avg'g almost as many turnovers as assists. Also, without Shaq Kobe's FG% is almost 2% lower. Although Kobe avg'd 35 points a game this past season, it wasn't his best yr statistically. Look at the '02-'03 season. That was his best season. Also, Wade's FG% this past season was .495. Kobe, even with Shaq, never shot over 47% for an entire season. Kobe's FG% was .450 this last yr. That's a difference of 4.5%, and at the NBA level that's a monumental difference. Finally, let's be real, both players are MUCH BETTER with Shaq in the lineup. Both Kobe and Wade have been compared to Jordan. And Penny was compared to Magic Johnson... hmmmmmmm. What ever happened to Penny after Shaq?... Nothing. Shaq made him that much better. With the double and sometimes triple teams he draws, it makes for easy baskets, especially at the guard position b/c 2 or 3 defenders are doubling in the post. I think they're about equal, honestly. LeBron is better than both of them - already!

Kobe Bryant is the quality of the bunch. The finest threats to him listed below are McGrady & LeBron. T-Mac's attempt has been wondered as has his consistency on protection. He can move factor for factor with Kobe larger than any individual in this record. LeBron most effective has to improve his capturing and protection. He's essentially the most unselfish of this institution. Carmelo is getting into his possess. He most effective demands to end up that his Dream Team efficiency will bring over to the constant NBA season. Wade improves each yr. He demands to upgrade his protection. He'll play tough defensively, however he demands a tad extra paintings.

Both are really good, but Dwayne Wade has better passing, and dribbling skills, while Kobe has a better Jump Shot, and is in someways a better dunker. Kobe is a better dunker than Wade, and even Lebron. You see Wade has yet to participate in the dunk contest, Kobe has. The only reason people compare these two is because they both could only win with shaq at there side. People say Wade is better but I think it's because he get's along with shaq. I think wade has a better crossover because i have yet to see kobe break anyones ankles, but wade has. I was never a kobe fan because he was so immature when he was drafted by telling the hornets that he will only play for the lakers, so the hornets had to trade him. I am starting to like kobe, because I see he is getting to be more mature than he was in the past. I don't see why you hate wade, me i love wade because of he is a superstar, the fact is i like almost all players, But i don't see it necicary to compare kobe with wade, because i don't think wade has developed that long range jump shot yet. kobe on the other had should be compared to T-mac because McGrady and Kobe are the same height, both skipped college, both are encredible dunkers, and i could keep going. Kobe and T-mac is the real debate on who is better, but actually they are equaly matched. Kobe has been in the league for 7 more years than Wade so I think Kobe is the better all around player, as for Lamar Odom, I don't think he will be a all star anytime soon. I think he is only good when he is the best player on the team, and Kobe being his teammate, then Odom is going to turn into what Gary Payton did when he went to the Lakers. Also Wade hasn't broke any records yet because he is in his 4th year as a pro, but if you watched him in his rookie year in the playoffs against the Pacers, then wade would be one of your fav players like he is mine, because in one of those games he went up and dunked on Jermaine O'Neil, and O'Neil was contesting the dunk as well, it was sweet. and that was before he had shaq.

individually Kobe is a better player. I would want him to have the ball at hand with the last shot.

Though Wade is a better player with players around him. He can penetrate and dish the ball off or make a spectacular lay up and a foul.

Wade as a individually player is better than kobe. in the game he goes to the hole all the time with defenders and if he doesnt have anyone but one person on him then he is goin to be straight killing. so i think kobe cant handle wade and he is the next mj.
