I read an Article a month or so ago on StarTrek.com it said that Star Trek XI is scheduled to come out sometime next year, but would not say if it would contain any of the previous crews. The article said that it is doubtful that it will be a look at the academy days of the first crew, because, that would require a whole new cast, as many of the cast members have died, and the rest are too old to play a younger version of themselves. I tried to find anything about it on StarTrek.com, but could not. There is an Ad for Star Trek legacy and that is an XBox and PC game. - Looks like it says that it has 5 captains, so it will proabbly feature crews from all the franchises.
Personally I would like to see something with the Voyager crew or something centered around Riker and the Titan.

There is a German "FanFilm" named "Star Trek: The Legacy" which isn't the kind of thing a studio would release.
There is an upcoming video game called "Star Trek: Legacy" which will incorporate elements of all 40 years of Star Trek series.

I dunno about 'legacy' but the new Trek movie is going to look at Kirk and Spock's early years...I have a bad feeling about this.
