All of the above foreign travellers should stick to the bus guided tours and they'll never be lost... In a city like London these same foreigners say that us Londoners are rude but its because they slow us down in our busy lives. We live and operate here on a timescale. Time is valuable to Londoners. Just as we respect tourists are valuable to our economy, they need to prioritise themselves and sort their journeys out on their own like I do. I travelled loads of countries and always plan my journey ahead, especially if I dont speak the language. Its time us Londoners got the respect we deserve. If anybody gives me a thumbs down that means you not a Londoner and you'll never understand what I'm talking about. I'd also like to add after reading convicted's little saying, why should we adapt to foreigners? They want to come here they should show some respect to us and speak to us in our language.

that they spend a hellofalot money there?
What's your bother? If all those damn Londoners wouldn't insist to go home all at the same time instead of working each a random amount of overtime there would be no rush hour. Rush hour is definitely not caused by tourists and their contribution is minor. And do you expect visitors with children to leave them in the hotel all day so they couldn't possibly bother you? And given that native English speakers are famous for not bothering to learn any foreign language and to expect everybody else to speak English I don't see any reason why other people may not try to do the same with their own language. Besides, who does that hurt?
I think this is an annoying question.

They stand in packs in the middle of the pavement looking at maps and blocking the way so I end up nearly getting run over after having to step into the road to get past. And they amble, so when you're rushing to get your lunchtime sandwich it takes half an hour instead of 5 minutes.

And seriously, what is so interesting about Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus? There's nothing there to see!

If it's like home (chicago), they take up too much room on the sidewalk, and walk slowly without letting anyone get by. Good thing they are afraid to take our version of the tube, which we call the Elevated or El.

The way they walk in big groups down the middle of the pavement so that you have to go into the road to get around them!
