I believe that everyone has a purpose in life so therefore they have some type of destiny or fate. Whether you believe that you have changed it, I believe that you can't. You just don't know what's going to happen and you can't see the future so how do you know you changed it?

With one exception I don't believe in destiny or fate. There are always options in life, always different paths that we can take. The fact that we make a certain choice in life & our life plays out according to that choice in no way means that we are fated to live that way , we can always change it if we want to. I think much of the time in all of us (no finger pointing) the idea of fate or destiny is a cop out , a way for us to justify not making a decision for change, I know that I've been guilty of this before. The one exception to this is that everything that's born will eventually die and, with the constant advance in medical science & our understanding of the body & the aging process, even this is hypothetically changeable.

Destiny is real my dear, i believe so much in it and fate take it along to where ever we are going in life and what ever we want to become. Sometimes in our life we try to do things in our own way but no matter how long we run for one particular thing which is our destiny that God has plain for us we will still come back and meet with it at last, that is why i love that saying that Destiny may be disturb but it can never be stop. i like the 2 motto: they are reality.

You cannot change your destiny or what you are destined to become. But using intelligence one can modify some results and make destiny comfortable.
To quote an example some people are destined to move from one place to another in shorter durations.Such person should never take up stationery jobs because he will have to change the job several times. If the same person takes up a touring Job keeping his family at one place he will comply with destiny at the same time his family will not suffer.

Two things......If I believe in destiny or in fate, then there is no question of changing the destiny because it is written by Almighty God and human are not with power beyond His power....the second thing....If I do not believe in destiny or in fate, then naturally there would be no question of changing.

I am not sure there is fate or destiny. I only believe what I am now. Just flow with the flow of life.

destiny is a path you walk,fate is timing & action. the choices you make can be honest or lies. honesty is a plush path of respect,where as lies has a path of dead stitches of respect& the stench of rotted wasted human time.

I do normally believe in both - but at the moment my life has just turned upside down so now I believe in being cursed for some reason unbeknown to me..

no you can't i believe no matter how hard you try you can't cange your fate because it is set up for you the moment you were given life
