You open your eyes and first have to figure out whether you are in your own bed or not. I had one morning after my 18th birthday party where my first conscious thought was "those are not my curtains!".

After you establish you are indeed home you then feel the dehydration creeping in. If you are a women you realise you're still wearing the make up you forgot to take off and it's stuck to your pillow. You then feel dirty, your mouth feels like a possum crawled in there during the night and died.

Best solutions I find is have a shower, put on a nice outfit and take some alka seltzer XS (resolve don't quite do it for me). Drink loads of lucozade and eat rubbish all day (I get a noodle craving).

I used to drink very heavily every day for several years. I am very used to hang overs. I basically feel like I have managed to catch a mild flu and a bad stomach upset at the same time.
This one time I was so badly hung over I could not get out of bed for two days and felt dreadful for a further week, I was dizzy, nausious and all my joints ached like I had bean beaten up by Mike Tyson... in retrospect I probably had alcohol poisoning and was lucky not to die.

Anyway these days I hardly ever drink and I actually quite enjoy hang-overs now (well the milder ones anyway) as they make me nostalgic.

Hungover obviously means you have poisoned your system with alcohol. Usually headaches and dehydration are common feelings. You could feel sick and you may have stomach pain. When you drink you destroy brain cells, and you damage your liver. Most people don't realise the dangers or the damage that drunkenness causes. The worst effect of hangover is the shakes. If you get the shakes you are in serious trouble.

You have a head ache and you feel like throwing up. Normally feel very thirsty and hungry, if you dont throw up. You just want to sleep all day and a lot of times your body hurts a little bit all over.

I have only ever had one once and from then on I have never ever drank again more than a couple of glasses of wine. I felt so awful , sick, headache, giddy, dry mouth, tired, it was even worse than the worst flu!!.. My advise,???? It is not worth it.
