It is normal to get period like cramps when you first become pregnant. As you had the smear test 2 weeks ago if it was going to cause a problem I'm sure it would have by now. But first of all take a test and find out.

yes it is normal to get cramps both after a smear and in the early days of pregnancy but mildly, not to an extent that you would be doubled up. You are normally asked if you could be pregnant at the time of the smear and the date of your last period. In any event the smear involves a gentle wiping of the cervix with a cotton swab. It does not enter your womb and is not likely to interfere with the pregnancy. Why don't you take a pregnancy test and you will know immediately if you are pregnant. Hope the results are what you want!

if your wondering if the smear test would delay your period, the answer is no. if your 11 days late and your smear test was 2 weeks ago, it would have been to early to tell if you were pregnant then. call your dr. or get a home pregnancy test.

11 days late may be uncommon for you but it doesnt mean you are pregnant and if you are a smear wouldnt have caused any damage at all, a smear only takes a swab around your cervix, it doesnt enter your womb at all, and the the only way to be positive (pardon the pun) is to take a pregnancy test.
hope all goes well for you.

I think you need to do a pregnancy test asap, when i was expecting my 1st child I did have what felt like period cramp but not bleeding. If not go and see your gp for unexplained bleeding.
