I never understand this question. If you are heterosexual and male don't you want to hang out with girls? I would think that's how you are going to get to be friends with them, and get to know something about women. Heterosexual men who know something about how to be a friend to a woman usually are the one's with the girlfriends.
Gay men want to hang out with men. They aren't going to find someone to date if they hang out with girls, they aren't attracted to girls.
If you are attracted to girls, and you are a guy, then you are not gay. Hope this clears it up for you.

exactly - its not about hanging out, who cares who you hang out with. if you're a guy and you happen to be attracted to guys then you're gay, simple as that.
by the sounds of it, it sounds like you're confused about your sexuality. it doesn't matter if you're gay or straight. why don't you go speak to someone and relax, chill out dude.
