Cyprus to Bulgaria?

anybody ever tried to get from cyprus (south side) to bulgaria by land n sea ?

There must be merchand trading ships that go from South Cyprus to Greece (Piraeus or Thessaloniki); if you can catch one to Thessaloniki, then you can take a bus to Sofia and from there, everywhere in Bulgaria.
But why don't you just catch a flight? You can fly Larnaca-Athens (1h 45mins) and then Athens-Sofia (1 h 15mins). It should cost you approx. 300€ with all taxes included and it's much easier!...
