Depends on the mood but for some reason I think that little holes in the wall are a lot more fun than a swanky lounge.

Depends. Dive bar on weekdays, especially when u don't care and want some greasy food during a football/basketball game. Lounge-it-out on the weekends...get all nice and sexy!

You can have much more fun if you're a lounge person in a dive bar than a lounge person in a lounge.

I prefer both actually...
If i fel like shootin pool and just getting to be able to chat with a lady without yelling so as to burst her eardrums...dive bar...
If i wish to dress to kill and dance the night away with a lady and have fun in her company with dinner and maybe a little bit of romance...then swanky is the way too go,baby...
As we could always hit another club at any time she wishes to leave for something more suitable for shared company to get too know of eachother a little better...,

Swanky lounge, complete with pool table and fancy neon lights! And fabulous people all decked out ready to have a jazzy night. Sinatra playing, drinks all around....yeah, that's the good stuff right there ;)

I have been in both and I drink (when I drink, rare but does happen) I want to just get sloppy drunk and a dive bar would be best as everyone there is pretty looped.
