There is a lot of clothes in the piles but we dont have a washing machine so we would have to wait until we can get to the laundry mat which might be next week. I am getting bit all over in the meantime though and they itch really bad. If I set a flea bomb off will it kill the fleas in the pile as well or do I have to wait?

I would bomb first, but make sure you and your animals are out of the house for a good while after doing so. Next get that laundry out of the house just in case the bomb wasn't enough, if you can't get to a laundry mat right away put it in plastic bags and get it in the garage or something. Next give your pets a bath, you don't need fancy flea and tick shampoo just use regular dawn dish soap (the blue kind) lather and let sit on the skin for about 5 minutes then rinse very well. The dawn smothers and kills the fleas it's really effictive. If the fleas are thick on the animals use a fine tooth comb to help remove them from the coat. Lastly, to prevent this from happening again please use a flea collar or the drops reguraly. They won't prevent your pets from picking up fleas all together but it really does help. Good luck!

The fleas can hide from the bomb in the piles of clothes, so you will have to do the laundry first. If you can't get to the laundromat right away, then take everything outside and shake them out thoroughly and leave them outside for a while. Invest in a few laundry hampers to keep the clothes off the floor. Then bomb. Then I would consider getting rid of the source of fleas if this is an ongoing problem.

First do the flea bomb--then give your animals a flea bath--then do the laundry. The bomb should kill the fleas in the laundry. You will need to redo the flea bomb and the flea bath in ten days to kill any eggs that are left over.

Good Luck

Sprinkle baby powder, corn starch, baking powder, etc., any powder substance on the clothes, (this with smother the fleas) put the clothes in a tightly sealed bag, bomb, then get to the laundry mat asap!
GOOD LUCK!!
