sitting for long hours at the desk!!!!!!!!! how can i make it more fun and complete my work!!! there must be thousands like me studying , or at work !!Any ideas from motivation to organisation of space funky desks etc

I know what you mean I've got an essay that's due on Friday, two more essays due in the New Year and my dissertation.
I've got four children and I find the easiest way to get time on my own is to leave the kids with the wife and book a room in the library and stay there for as long as possible, untill I get done what needs to be done. Also if I have a lecture in the morning I get to the library for 6:00am and do my work pre-lecture.

Hi, I study for many hours and on almost a daily basis (if not being mum or painting) and I teach myself so my own teacher too, lol (yeah, the difficult way I know but I am a firm believer I am capable of learning anything I want to if have enough determination, so I don't have the money to pay out like you) but if I were paying for my education that alone would be enough motivation to give me that extra push
For me personally I enjoy learning and that is my motivation. The 'want' to learn gives me determination.
Funky desk, ermm...
I can't help you out there really as my desk has two PCs and is my art table too, actually it is converted into all I need when I need, lol
I wish you all the luck, maybe a little music in the background will help relax the mind, but surely just to imagine yourself graduating will do it, imagine and keep seeing yourself at the end of this challenge.

Break your work up into chunks: for example reading, making notes, collecting evidence, drafting essay, checking for errors etc. Write these all down (colour coded looks nice). Give realistic deadlines for each component. Next create a list of small rewards you can choose from when you complete each e.g. getting some ice cream, going out for a walk, whatever you enjoy. Cross each item off as you complete it. This will make your task seem easier to achieve as it is broken up into small bits and there are rewards to enjoy.

My Tip: learn suitable till now you bypass to mattress. that's a confident actuality that scholars that learn merely till now mattress time certainly keep their suggestions extra valuable than people who learn till now in the day. additionally, scrap the all-nighters suitable till now attempt day. you will not miraculously take in the fabric the way the rep says you will.
