Could I be pregnant need advice?

Can anyone give me any advice. Stopped my pill in Sept. Had a period on oct13 all normal. due on again on fri 10th nov nothing yet!!! bad bad cramps just easing off today. roughly 1/2 weeks ago very very sore breasts. did at preg test on sun but neg? is it worth doing another one. Still no period? help confused I am new to this.

hey my dates r egsactly the same as urs, my last period was 13th october and i was due 10th i didnt come on i took a test now im pregnant so i would go to the doctors huni xx

Best bet - the doctor! A blood test will confirm more accurately than a urine test whether or not you are pregnant.

I don't know how old you are, but periods can take a while to become regular when you're still a teenager/young adult. And some women NEVER have regular periods at all! But do keep in mind - you just came off the pill. Some people are irregular after they first come off it. Some people say they get pregnant "immediately" after coming off the pill, whilst others don't get their period back for years.

Also, it depends on when you last had sex as a urine test may not pick up the pregnancy for a little while!!!

And cramps and sore breasts are common symptoms of "period pain" as well, so don't get too scared just yet!

But if you're really worried, go to the doctor and tell them ALL the facts and they'll be able to help you determine if you are or are not pregnant and if you are, they'll be able to offer you some sound advice.

i would give it a few days as the syptoms could also be a sign of a due period.if nothing then go to see your doctors pregnancy test can be expensive the best of times and the doctor can tell you for free, if in doubt give your doctors a ring most doctors are avalible for advice.try not to worry though easier said than done i know but really there no need for worrying whilst its still all up in the air.also the pill can be a funny thing when you stop taken it its your body re-adjusting its self chances are you may get 2 periods one ater the other next month

You can still get sore breasts when you are due on, I think that your body may just be addapting it self to a new cycle. With the pill you were always due at precise time. I would give it a week or two max then do a test. I do take it that you had unprotected sex??, So hence the worry?

I think that the sore breasts could be a sign of coming off of the pill and the fact that you have not had your period yet is becuase your stressing out about the fact you havn't had a period. I suggest do another test to put your mind at ease and then hopefully you'll be calm enough and your period should come.

You could be pregnant cos when i was i thought my period was starting but it was settling pains into the womb i feel you would like to be so hopefully so....also ive been upto a week late through worying but tests can also be wrong good luck with getting whatever result you want

Still early days as you only 4 days late, sore breats yes can be a sign of pregnancy but they are also a sign of being near your period....I say give it a few days then see your doc, as preg tests get expensive.

give it a day or two and do another test its early days yet if u really wanna be sure a blood test from ur gp can tell u as it picks up the pregnancy homon earlier than the shop bought test kits good luck

You could always try doing another test, otherwise you could always talk to your gp & see if they'll do a blood test to check for pregnancy. In my family we've had cases where pregnancy comes up negative in home tests & only shows positive in blood tests.

it could just be a reaction to stopping the pill also that may be why your periods are iiregaller why not visit the nhs.co.uk for more advice...the more u worry about being late the later your peroid will be
