Murtha has been a strong voice in Congress for many years. His experience will benefit our nation.
He does have one big black streak upon him. Remember Abscam? He told the agents he wouldn't accept their bribe, "at this time". It is something he will never be able to live down. Many watchdog groups are crying foul over his possible leadership position.

Not even close that Murtha is W's worst nightmare. (and to the goofs who insulted a combat veteran - well you won't be able to understand this anyway). W's nightmare is realizing that he is going to go down in history as a president of strong convictions and negligible competency to build a team and carry forward those convictions. Then again, he's only done about three things well in his life, and two of those were marrying Laura and listening to Karl Rove.

I hope whoever the house majority leader is, that they let bush know from the start that he isn't in charge any more, and if he disagrees he can talk to a real 9-11 investigation this time.

How come people seem to think that because President Bush isn't a "smooth talker" that he isn't civil? He was to the Democrats who ruled Congress when he first took office in 2001. Why change?

Murtha is a traitor and one of the more corrupt members of the overrated congress. It is fitting he is a democrat. No other party would want this fat hog. Move him to Iran where he belongs.

we are able to assume Islamic figures who prefer u.s. ineffective in an quite violent thank you to return talk to congress and lead us into the grave. i understand that sounds like a leap for some..yet I even have been analyzing all approximately Obama and all his cohorts. many of the names i'm seeing ARE islamic... and each and all of the names are from countries which use sharia regulation ( an eye fixed for an eye fixed and in some cases greater desirable and additionally that ladies are horribly discriminated against in each and every genuine way and blamed for the crimes men commit ) and which prefer u.s. ineffective and or nuked and or the two. anyone who cares approximately our u . s . a . in any respect..who desires to vote for Obama ... ought to look at his kinfolk individuals..look at his pastor.. look at what HE HAS chosen to bypass alongside with for twenty years. he won't lead u.s. into something which even somewhat resembles u.s. of the previous 2 hundred years.
