No, I get offended when people say bigoted things about anybody of any race. I don't think truth offends. Ignorance offends.

I think that some people get offended when they know what you are saying is right, or true, but they don't want to admit it. Sometimes the truth hurts and no one wants to hurt.

Like my husband says...Don't ask a question if you don't want a truthful answer. Most people think that when they ask you will spare their feelings just to be nice. You are right about them though. The always seem to get pissed at you or give you that look. You know the one I mean...the "how dare you say that to me" look. My friends know me...if they want to know the truth ask me...they will get it good or bad.

yes...most people get offended when someone tells them the truth and it is something they aren't willing to admit to themselves or are afraid to admit......but people do get offended for other reasons too!!!!!
