I had unprotected sex on September 26th, then got my period in October. Now my November period was due 3 days ago but I am having very light spotting. My breasts have been sore since the beginning of October and I have been tired a lot lately. Should I take a pregnancy test?

Yes. Just because you had your period last month does not mean you aren't pregnant. I had my first period after conception with my daughter. If nothing else, it will ease your mind.

Yes. It can't hurt you to take the test, but it could hurt the baby to not get care early in the pregnancy.

Sweetie, the fact that you're even asking this tells me you know you need to take a test. You sound like a smart, mature woman who knows how to take care of herself. So please do yourself a favor and take one. They are simple and can be kept private--they're small enough to be thrown away inconspiculously.

If you are smoking and drinking, you need to know ASAP if you're pregnant. I sincerely hope you follow my advice. Your future is in the balance here. Good luck, hon!!

I would take a test just to be sure. Can't hurt to test, even if you're not pregnant. Good luck.

if you had period in october, that means you're not pregnant. that is if you didn't have unprotected sex again after that.
