Diplomacy! Britian is an independent nation. And they have a moral conscience and they unlike YOU, now history. When Hitler and his buddies decided to take over Europe, the US came to its aid. When 911 happened, 'a declaration of war against the people of the US on US soil', the Brits returned the favor!

The US has traditionally helped countries that are attacked from within or without, why wouldn't anyone help them. And it was just the Brits that helped. The Aussies, the Italians and the Japs helped too among other countries.

Don't be so narrow minded. Cooperation between countries IS A GOOD thing, not something to scorn or ridicule. Think if all countries in the world could cooperate like this.

Off the reservation again Apache? Of course Britain is an independent country. The fact remains that our cousins across the pond also happen to believe people should have the opportunity to live quality lives free from oppression. Thus our policies are often the same.

When I see comments like this I have to wonder where the loyalty lies for people who make them

Tony may have made a few mistakes but he is doing all he can to keep the people of his nation safe.

Why do you have a problem with that? Would you prefer they be vulnerable to terrorists?

As an American I am thankful everyday for a man like Tony Blair.

Not true. Great Britain is an independent nation. The governments of hundreds of countries signed on to the war in Iraq. For good reason: it was the best course of action. Governments of several nations refused to sign on. The reason: greed - they had been bought with oil contracts from Sadam Hussein.
The only other similarity between GB and the US is the language.

Sometimes I think Yahoo Answers is dealing with a bunch of kids with no life experience. Maybe they need a Yahoo Answers for teenagers.

Well, let's examine this for a minute.

In WWII when Hitler's Germany was attempting to take over all of Europe by force, who was it who bailed your butts out of that scrape? And if it had been hundereds of YOUR innocent civilians killed by a terrorist act, we would have come to your aid yet again. Get over yourself and when you get a true democracy in place in your county, then you can criticize ours!

I understand you vote in your country. Vote if you don't like it!
