I wouldnt know exactly it all depends on what treatments you will be offering but you will definately need public liability insurance so you are covered in case there's an accident during treatments etc.
Citizens advice will be able to offer some help but also businesslink.gov.uk will be able to help you with all your questions plus they will be able to see if you are entitled to a start up grant. Theres loads of info on there site but I emailed them a question and someone got back to me straight away snd I then booked an appointment at my local office so I could have a chat and got loads of great FREE information. Hope this helps a little.
You could also try looking in the trade mags for articles about setting up on your own plus they would be plenty of deals on offer for supplies/sunbeds etc.

Good Luck with your new venture x Its daunting I know but persevere and you'll crack it! x
