When I was 18, I was married, buying a home, working full time and going to school full time. My husband was 12 years my senior. We stayed together 6 years and things just fizzled. I think some people (depending on their emotional maturity) are fully capable of love at the age of 18. (By the way, no disrespect meant at all, but you'll probably attract a better educated man, one who can do a better job of providing for you if you drop the love bug long enough to learn how to properly write.
