There's as many answers to this questions as there are people. It's like any situation, different for anyone who is in it. When you get married you will set up your routines, your boundaries, your expectations. The best case scenario is it is being able to come home to your best friend every day, live life with someone who is always on your side and always has your back and is always there to listen. But this takes work! You can't take it for granted and you must be willing to compromise and give 100%.

The only thing I can comment on is MY marriage because every marriage is different and my marriage is awesome! i would do it again in a hearbeat. I have a husband, a best friend, a plumber, an electrician, a mechanic, a love slave, a comfy pillow at night, the wonderful scent of aftershave in the morning after he leaves, the joy of cooking for more then just me, someone to ALWAYS hang out with and be there for, its just an all around great experience and I am so glad I did it.

I can't tell you that it will be a bed of roses but with the right person, it will be sweet. You have to be ready to compromise and be responsible for your actions. Its all about ''him or her'' when taking decisions. Women have to submit to their husbands. Unfortunately, submission to some people is termed to be slavery but as we all know, you can't have 2 captains in a ship. Men should also be ready to respect their wives. To some people, unfortunately, its termed to being stupid.

Marriage used to be and is still is, a unique institution except that in this day, with the high divorce rates, one would wonder whether marriage has lost its sacredness. The important thing you should know is that its not a play affair.

That is a hard question to answer,..as every marriage is different. Believe it or not that some people can be everything you are looking for,...then you marry them and they change overnight literally. So sometimes what should be a great experience turns bad overnight.

its like walking in a rain storm and finding a bridge to take cover under only to have it collapse when you get there, its like your finger nails scraping across a chalkboard and the chalkboard turning into needles, its like...well this is not my impression but a couple of my friends, i think its like a beautiful sunny day when you wake to hear the birds singing and you look over to find the woman you love sleeping so peaceful and you remember why you love her so, as you get up to go look out at the beautiful sunny day you stand at the window and see the singing birds flying and then all of a sudden one crashes through the window hits you in the face you fall backward and bump your head on the bed rail ,knocks you out and as you wake you realize it was all a dream and your wife has left for work and now your late for work....marriage is only what you make it and it takes both to make it work and for each to do their part.....

thats different for everyone. i have a great marriage, but we were best friends before we dated and then married. we laugh a lot, we talk, we have 3 kids, we spend time together as a family.
we deal w/ the sh!t when it comes along, and we deal w/the fun when it comes along too.

marriage is a 24/7 kinda job, but it's been a fun one so far! 6yrs married 9 yrs together, known him for 12yrs.

If you're marriage is good then there's nothing better. My wife and I are best friends and enjoy hanging out together. We talk about everything and make decisions together always. It's great to have a partner to live your life with.

I love being married, someone you always have to come home to,or just lay in bed at night holding each other, you know you have someone to put your head on when you get stressed and emotional.but it is different for everybody, one couple might love it while a nother couple cant stand it.good luck.

Most of the time it is great, freindship, love, someone to hold at night, ect.

But sometimes you miss the old lust you once had.
