It's a free download, the server is based in Romania, it allows you to play according to North American dictionary (TWL98), or the UK/Australia/rest of world English dictionary (SOWPODS) or even French, Dutch, Romanian, etc if you so choose.
Everyone from world champions (and you can observe their games, too!) to, well, very very very clueless players plays there. You can only play 1-on-1 though, no 3 or 4 way games. Because a Romanian guy programmed it, some of the functions and commands are funny (like, to see what game settings you have, you type "Vars". Vars???? What the hell is that!!). But really, it's great.
I'm shocked I'm the first answer to give this out!!
