someone is heard to say truthfully:

[1] " At the party there were

14 adults,
17 children,
12 males, and 19 females.

[2] Then I (any of the four) arrvied and the number of different man-women couples possible became equal to the number boy-girl couples possible.
(if there were 6 men and 8 women at the party, then there would have been 6*8 or 48 man-women couples possible.)"

is the speaker a man , a women , a boy, or a girl?
if then how?

I haven't time to really sort this out as lunch beckons but ...

A Man.

There are less Adults than kids and less Males than Females so to increase the man-woman ratio to be equal to the boy-girl ratio I deduce a man.
