I travel often so I don't have a phone line anymore, just my mobile phone. Is there a way for me to get high-speed internet service without a phone. I use wireless when it's available, but I would like something I can always count on.

I'd suggest cable. Either way you go, it's going to cost something, and at least with cable, you'll have the option of watching TV with it too.

The only way I know of to have a reliable high-speed connection without a phone line would be with a cable and a cable modem. You may be able to find a way to have a satellite connection, but this would surely be cost prohibitive.
